Hunting Season Has Arrived

It’s hunting season, and if you’re taking your truck through the woods in order to find your mark, it likely means that your truck will be full of mud, not to mention blood and guts by the time you are done (if it was a successful trip!). At Rocky Mountain Car Wash, we have all the equipment you’ll need to get your entire truck clean after a weekend spent in the wild.

Throw Out Any Large Items

All our car wash sites are equipped with multiple trash cans throughout the property. Pull up to any trash can and throw out large items such as empty ammo boxes that are in your truck bed and piled up inside your truck. After a long ride up the mountain, drink cans are common and can pile up quickly, so stop by when you come back down off that mountainside and empty them out before they create a big stink in your cabin later.

Wash the Exterior of Your Truck

Once your truck has been emptied of all the large trash, pull into a Self-Serve bay and give all your exterior surfaces a pass of Presoak to loosen the stuck on mud and dirt. Any organic material such as blood should be soaked in Bug Blast, which is specially formulated to break down organic materials better than a Presoak or Soap. 

Once your truck has been prepped, use the Wash Soap function to blast away the mess on your vehicle. This uses hot water, high pressure, and a concentrated soap to deep clean your truck. Any leftover mess can be scrubbed clean with the foam brush. Our Self-Serve bays have all the functions you need to achieve a super clean vehicle.

Clean the Interior of Your Truck

The interior of your truck is also important to clean after a hunting trip, as the cabin of your vehicle may have accumulated some of the same mud and blood that the outside of your vehicle did. All of our Self-Serve bays are equipped with special floor mat holders so you can easily clear away any grime. To get an extra deep clean, use a vacuum to get into every nook and cranny so that you do not have leftover odors left behind.

Once your vehicle is successfully cleaned, you can get back to bragging about that 10 point buck you shot!
