Remove Stuck on Bugs!

When using a self-serve car wash to clean off bugs from your vehicle, there are several effective methods you can employ. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you:

  1. Rinse the car:

    • Start by using the high-pressure spray wand to rinse the entire vehicle, focusing on the areas with bug residue. Make sure to spray from a close distance to maximize the water pressure and remove loose dirt and bugs.

  2. Apply pre-soak:

    • Use pre-soak on the entire surface of the vehicle, as it helps break down and loosen bug splatters and grime. Allow the pre-soak enough dwell time before using the foamy brush to scrub.

  3. Scrub with a foaming brush:

    • After applying the pre-soak, take the foaming brush and scrub the areas with bug residue. Use back-and-forth or circular motions to dislodge the bugs effectively. Ensure the brush is clean and free from debris before using on your vehicle.

  4. Rinse again:

    • Once you've thoroughly scrubbed the affected areas, rinse the vehicle again with the high-pressure spray wand. This step helps remove any remaining bugs and loosened debris.

  5. Spot treatment:

    • For any persistent bug stains or stuck residue, you may need to apply additional bug blast. Apply the bug blast, allowing for it to soak, and gently scrub the affected spots with a microfiber cloth or sponge.

  6. Final rinse and dry:

    • Give your car a final rinse using the high-pressure spray wand, making sure to remove all cleaning products. This step also helps eliminate any lingering bug particles.

    • After a final high pressure rinse, use the spot free rinse as the last application. This will prevent water spots and give your car a clean, streak-free finish.
