Who Wants to Go Mudding?!

Mud season is here! Who doesn’t love driving their car through wet fields of mud?! It may be tempting to leave all that muddy filth on your vehicle after your off-roading adventures, but leaving your vehicle unwashed could cause some major issues.

The mud you put on your paint could be abrasive not only while you are driving through it but also when you leave it on your vehicle to dry. If mud is left caked on your undercarriage, you run the risk of your vehicle overheating and causing sever damage. Vents, breather valves, suspension, and steering can also be affected by muddy build up.

If you go mudding, the very best thing you can do is wash your vehicle while the mud is still wet. Try to wipe off some of your components before pressure washing so that you don't risk pushing the mud deeper.

If the mud has already dried on your vehicle, try soaking it with a pre-soak before hitting it with high pressure wash soap. This will give the mud some time to remoisturize and the presoak can help to break it down faster than just high pressure soap alone.

At Rocky Mountain Car Wash we love mud season, but understand that not all our customers are as fond of mud as we are. Don’t you hate it when you’ve just washed your car, and it gets muddy again?! We have the perfect solution, our monthly membership program, wash your car every single day for one low monthly price.
